1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or scheduling services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not accept any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or clinical services.


2. Medical Disclaimer

Our practice provides professional psychiatric and psychological care. However, our services are not a substitute for emergency medical treatment.
If you are experiencing a crisis, suicidal thoughts, or a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. You can also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for 24/7 support.


3. Appointment Policies

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone, email, or our online booking system.

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or discontinuation of services.

  • While we accept insurance, patients are responsible for all copays, deductibles, and any non-covered services.


4. Payment & Insurance

  • We accept most major insurance plans as well as self-pay options.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • No-show fees or late cancellation fees may apply and are the responsibility of the patient.


5. Telehealth Services

  • Ivy’s Healing Path offers secure, HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry and teletherapy sessions for clients located in Ohio.

  • Clients must ensure they have a stable internet connection; we are not responsible for disruptions due to connectivity issues.

  • You must be physically located in Ohio at the time of your telehealth session to comply with state licensing laws.


6. Website & Communication Usage

  • Our website and contact forms are intended for general information and appointment requests only.

  • Submitting information via our website does not establish a provider-patient relationship until an official appointment is confirmed.

  • Please avoid sharing personal health information via unsecured platforms.


7. Limitation of Liability

Ivy’s Healing Path is not liable for:

  • Technical disruptions impacting telehealth appointments.

  • Misuse of prescribed medications by patients.

  • Delays in care due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.


8. Updates to Terms & Policies

We may update our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy from time to time. All changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms.
